Spring Concert


Our hugely successful spring concert was held on 21st April 2018.  If you missed it listen again to some of it here.  A massive thanks to our soloists: Mary Pope, Mark Hounsell and Graham Dalby.

'Friends of Westbury Choral'

Friends can pay 20 per year to obtain discounted tickets to our Christmas and spring concerts, and invitations to our social events.  Contact us if you are interested in this.

Imber Festival of Carols

It is a great privilege to be asked to perform at the Imber Festival of Carols, which is now an annual event for us.  The event is a great celebration of the village that was evacuated over 70 years ago and it was fantastic to be part of this important occasion.  The choir always looks forward to this event.

Christmas Concert


Westbury Choral gave a fantastic Christmas Concert on 15th December 2017.  If you missed it recordings are available here.

Westbury Choral has appointed Rob Danter as their new accompanist from September 2015.  Rob is highly experienced as the Musical Director with Con Brio in Bradford-on-Avon and, until recently, accompanist with Trowbridge Philharmonic Choral.  We have enjoyed working with him in our first year together and look forward to continuing our relationship into the future.

Westbury Music and

Arts Festival

We were very excited to put on a joint performance as part of Westbury Music & Arts Festival, in partnership with Matravers School and The Wiltshire Council Singers on opening night, Friday 25th September 2015.



A great concert was held on 20 September 2014 featuring Westbury Choral, Upavon Military Wives choir, and some local soloists.  Over 400 was raised for Westbury Methodist Church.  Thank you to all involved.

Workshop with

Grenville Jones


Grenville Jones, the renowned choral conductor, has been to Westbury Choral!  He ran an entertaining workshop aimed at both singers and non-singers of all ages, on 14th June 2014. 

The workshop was followed by a concert featuring the workshop choir with Bath Male Choir, participants in the BBC's Last Choir


70th Anniversary Imber Commemoration

        As part of Westbury Music and Arts Festival 2013, Westbury Choral were delighted to be invited to perform at Edington Priory at the Commemoration Service for

        the 70th Anniversary of the evacuation of Imber village.

Salisbury Christmas Market


We performed a few unaccompanied pieces and carols in the Guildhall Square, Salisbury as part of the Christmas Market Saturday 1st December 2012.

Amesbury Concert


Another great concert was held in conjunction with Amesbury Town Band on 22nd September 2012.  Click here to listen.

Jubilee Concert


Westbury Choral took part in a celebration concert for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee on 2nd June 2012.  Performed works included Britten's The National Anthem; Mathias' Let the people praise thee, O God; Parry's I Was Glad; and a newly commissioned work Exsultate Jubilate by Luke Whitlock.

Westbury Music and

Arts Festival


Westbury Choral performed works by Handel, Stainer, Rutter, and Mathias in a highly successful concert at All Saints Parish Church, as part of the Westbury Music and Arts Festival in October 2011.  A photo of the choir is available here.  For details of future concerts see our Events page.


Available for  Weddings

A small group of singers from Westbury Choral is available to sing at local wedding services, Christmas and special events.  Our fee is 100-200 plus expenses: please contact us to discuss your requirements and confirm fees.



We are always looking for people to join the Committee or to take on small jobs without being a Committee member.  If you are interested in this please contact us and come to our AGM.  See the Events page for the next date (usually in May).



We are always looking for new members and for a big audience at our concerts. The best way of recruiting new members is via word of mouth so please spread the word about us.  If you can help by displaying leaflets or posters, please take some at our rehearsals, or contact Luke Pickett to obtain some.
